Ananda Vatika Green Gurukulam Celebrates World Environment Day with a Difference: Disperses Seedballs in Wild

Rajakhet, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, 5 June 2018: The World Environment Day on 5th of June, this year, was celebrated in a unique way at the Ananda Vatika Green Gurukulam (AVGG), an informal green school based on the “Beyond the Walls, Ahead of the Syllabi” concept, here at the village of Bhaunyara.

The AVGG students, under the inspirational guidance of their principal and Co-founder of the informal institution, Ms Anita Nautiyal, strew and spread seedballs in the wild of the Bhaunyara village -- the base of the AVGG.

धारकोट, टिहरी गढ़वाल: उत्तराखंड के जनपद टिहरी गढ़वाल में जाखणीधार ब्लॉक के सुप्रसिद्ध गांव धारकोट में महिला दिवस के अवसर पर गत 8 मार्च 2018 को एक सुंदर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया.

कार्यक्रम का संयोजन समाजविज्ञानी राजेश्वरी सेमवाल ने किया और कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता पटूड़ी ग्राम के सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता प्रेम सिंह सजवाण ने की.

रजाखेत, टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड: गत 15 मई 2018 को रजाखेत में शिवालिक एकेडमी और आनंद वाटिका ग्रीन गुरुकुलम (एवीजीजी) की एक-दिवसीय जल कार्यशाला अत्यंत सफल रही. विज्ञान दिवस के अंतर्गत आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम के अवसर पर आयोजित जल-विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी तो रजाखेत जैसे दूरस्थ क्षेत्र में एक अभिनव प्रयास था.
